An amazing sight....

I was wondering because i had been every gas station down town and hadn't seen one.

the gas stations in pound ripped them up...

the only place that has one is roberts brothers..
yeah its pretty pathetic that someone would do this and cause there SON or GRANDSON so much hell at school
how in the sam hell is someone changin tires gonna be a head coach of a highschool football team in Wise Co??..last i heard you gotta be a teacher to be a head coach..

and for the person that is kin to the person that started the petition its your fault your son didnt get the carries he usually got, your the one that made him miss those 2 extra games after the doctor released him..no ones fault but your own..

Just to let ya know ...no one at Roberts Brothers is asking to be head coach at Pound.One coach in mind is from LCC but who knows what's gonna happen.And last I heard the gas stations didn't rip them up.And this shouldn't be causing any child st school any trouble no kid at the school had anything to do with this.

I've not seen a petition. I have been asked to sign and haven't and I've been called about it too. I do know that the one that started the petition does not even have a child on varsity. Don't know which one that was injured is even any kin to the one that started the petition.
I hate that this has happened and I only wish the best for all the kids playing ball. IMO there are rights and wrongs on both sides of this petition. I agree to what alot is being said and I feel like somethings should have never happened. I just hope that the boys try and work harder next year and the coaches who ever they are, care about the program first and not their own agenda.

Next thing you know, they'll want to get rid of the baseball coach down there who hasn't even coached a game yet! [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

This petition thing is pathetic. Yet another reason why Pound athletics will not be successful. The community and parents won't allow it.

Well this is my opinion on the situation at hand.... The Wildcats are o for 10 and that is not a very good run but I say give the coaching staff 1 more year to turn it around. Maybe if the coaching staff had a little more support from parents and fans things would go a lot smoother. Pound does not have 5 Division 1 prospects... do not wish to demenior anyone but a lot of them would have trouble getting drafted by Mountain Empire.. ha ha just kidding....It is very easy to sit and call plays from the stands or say this is what I would do... we have a lot of " I want to be a coach" personalities in the stands. I declare to you to stop causing trouble about this issue and go to the coaching staff and attempt to help them... is there a lot of fan support ect; at the home games. Did this start because a kid went home and told their daddy that they did not get enough playing time? Anyway give them 1 year to pull it together.

I know it's bad to use my own team as an example(sorry jjk), or is a good thing, depends on how you look at it, but anyway, Kelly got Salyers, and went 0-10, then 1-9, now they are 4-6 (congrats). Give Pound a couple years to develop and the should make a turn-a-round. Bringing in a new coach, and a new system will just hurt the Wildcats and it will take them even longer to have a successful year.

i know the one that started the petition dosent have a son on varsity but he does have a grandson.

There is no reason to start a petition for a persons firing. Remember These people are working and putting food on the table for their families. If a coach need to be fired let the school handle that and parents/fans need to support their coaches for thier school.
